You might have noticed a couple of small changes to our little corner of Adelaide over the last term, the biggest one being our opening days. We have been trialling an extra day a week – Tuesdays. You can now pop in across five days and we hope this extra day suits those who sometimes struggle to get in to see us when they really want to! In order to make this happen though, our other change is an additional staff member! Yep, that’s right – we’re growing and so that means we need more hands on deck to make it happen.
Insert new staff member here! Her name is Bethany and she’s a dang legend!
You’ll see Bethany on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and we are so grateful to have her on board with us. She’s an accomplished barista and loves a good thrifty find, so you’ll be in extra good hands when you come in to see her. To help you get to know her a little more, we asked Bethany a couple of questions and here’s what she had to say!
Tell us your favourite book/author/music – My favourite music is a bit of everything really and I don’t have a favourite book yet but I’m dying to read a little life by hanya yanagihara (have heard great things).
Tell us your favourite thrifted find – I have MANY fav thrifted finds (my whole wardrobe is practically thrifted) but my most recent favs are a maxi denim dress and a tea pot that looks like a tennis ball!
How do you take your coffee – My coffee order is a small flatty with an extra shot and oat milk.
Tell us what you do outside of junktion – Outside of junktion I’m a reformer pilates instructor and wannabe embroiderer!
Tell us what you enjoy about working in community – What I love most about working in community is getting to know new and beautiful faces and also having the opportunity to make someone smile! 🙂
