As we near the end of another year (do we breathe a sigh of relief or dig our fingernails deeper into the armrest? I don’t really know yet…!) we thought it might be fitting to showcase some of the things we get through our doors. We accept donations of practically ANYTHING and the turn over is quite high, so there’s a good chance that something you see one week will be gone and replaced the next!
As people get ready for Christmas and end-of-year celebrations, let us help you! You can still feel glitzy, fun and all dolled up for next to NOTHING when you buy #secondhand – how great is that! For example, our dresses are only $8 a pop and our shoes are a simple $4. Jewellery is only $2 a piece and to finish the look, you can grab a clutch or bag for next to zip too!
Maybe you have multiple gatherings to attend – work, friends and then family – and you don’t want to wear the same thing to each. No worries, forget the drama of braving the shops at this time of year for clothing. Head to an opshop and browse around! There are so many racks in every shop, that you could put together a whole bunch of unique outfits just by visiting one or two.
And don’t forget that Kris Kringle gift – we’ve got you covered there! Preloved books are perfect to add to the gift box when you buy a vintage wine glass and lovely bottle of red on your way to the party.

We are still open until the end of term, too! Wednesday through Friday from 930am until 4pm, and again on Saturday mornings from 930am until 1230pm.
