Let us catch you up!

On Saturday the 4th, we held our Mini Easter Fair! If you’ve been following along with us for any number of years, you’ll know that we just L O V E any reason to throw a get-together! And Easter was especially perfect, for all that it means. We were able to host several local small businesses – Elisha, Dani, Lisa and Deb – who filled our wonderful front area with their goodies. There was a bake sale and a sausage sizzle, and of course – coffee!

We truly love the community vibe that bounces around during these events! People come to check it out, bring friends or family and tend to stick around and take advantage of the great atmosphere. It was perfect weather, too!

Thank you to all our stall holders, we hope it was once again worth the time and effort to set up and greet everyone – and thank you to everyone who popped out on their long weekend to see us!

2026 may not have started off incredible for you – or maybe, 2025 didn’t even finish all that well. We all know things are looking…interesting, to say the least and that we are living during a time of a lot of unrest, uncertainty and worry. While these are not exactly things that we encourage you to hold space in, we do think that they help push us into places where we should.

Feeling worried or anxious about things that are out of your control – like the price of oil or a bag of rice or a punnet of strawberries – can sometimes lead us to seek out help that we might not have otherwise. That might mean financial counselling, sure – or it might be as simple as calling that friend. Asking to talk. Banding together so that we are not alone.

That sense of ‘togetherness’ is what we’re all about. It’s literally why our name is junktion – a place to meet. We want you to meet that friend for coffee or just a chat in our place. We want you to come to the Easter fair, whether you’re prepared to buy second hand or not – and spend time with people who care about you, in a safe place.

Setting foot in a coffee shop might not seem like a big deal, but perhaps you’re the friend who has been called. Maybe it’s you who is offering peace in the form of a hot drink and a smile and a listening ear to someone dear to your heart. Whatever the reason, whatever the situation, we want you to come.

Come here. Take a breath. Be together.

So, our Easter Fair might be over, but we still have great things in store for this year. Whether you’re new to thrifting and buying secondhand, or an old pro at sourcing vintage gear – we still have amazing bargains and one-of-a-kind items in our little corner of Adelaide.

Along with some awesome coffee of course!

Coming up on the 23rd of April, we are hosting our very own crafting evening! So, if you love a bit of knitting, crocheting or cross-stitching, this is the event for you! And guess what? It’s totally FREE to attend! (please make sure you register as places are limited)
