Friends and family, we are BACK for another term after a lovely two weeks off from the grind (see what we did there? hehe)! We trust that you have been keeping well and embracing the cool and chilly weather with warm drinks, good company and cosy blankies because it sure has called for it!
To celebrate our return to another term, we are kicking off here at Junktion in our little corner of Adelaide with a 2 for 1 sale on all our glassware! Take a squiz at some of our cute and shiny pieces below, but make sure you pop in and see us because there is LOADS more than this!
Think you don’t need any new-to-you glassware? Well, you haven’t heard our suggestions for how to use said glassware then! Consider this – sweets dish, jewellery dish, paints dish, face wipes container, make up display, herbs and spices jars, decorative pieces for your workspace, candle holders, business card dishes, stationery dishes, soy sauce dippers, spoon holders, soap dishes, fancy platters for serving delicious treats, fruit bowl, and more!
Glassware also makes awesome gifts. You can fill it with treats and tie it off with a ribbon, put in a gift basket with other goodies or even fill old perfume bottles with face wash and add them to a little skincare and beauty gift packs with wipes, a scrub and a headband! The options are kind of endless when you get creative. Using glassware in multiple different ways is also another option for being a part of the #reducereuserecycle movement! You’re repurposing something and choosing to act consciously about what you purchase and what you do with it. That’s an A+ in our books!
While we’re on the subject of conscious thrifting and the wintry season that is upon us, we’re got a little announcement for you:
Our Winter Fest is coming up on August 31st!
This is going to be an AWESOME day of community, cosy coffee and of course, preloved wares! We’ll have Retro Kitsch with us again and her eclectic collection of vintage and thrifted items for sale, a homemade goodies stall, a raffle prize and guess what? SOUP and BREAD! Oh man, we’re drooling already – can you picture it? Soup and bread on a cool winter morning while you browse preloved items and catch up with friends? Perfection. So, make that in your diary now – August 31st from 9am until 1pm at 72 Candy Rd in Happy Valley.
In the meantime, we are back to our regular trading house of Tuesday through Friday from 930am until 4pm and Saturday mornings from 930am until 1230pm. We have welcomed such a large number of smiling new faces through our doors over the last quarter and we’re really excited about what this next one has in store for us.
